Led on the field by field commander Tracy Puckett!
1995-1996
The marching season of 1995 was the "raining season". I'm sure any band member will remember all the rain and mud.
In 1995, The Band of Gold performed at all but one football game. They performed at the homecoming parade.
Homecoming Parade 1995!!
They also traveled to Concord College for a marching festival and returned home winners of the first place marching award! In addition to the Concord competition, the band also traveled to Summersville for the Governor's Cup competition!
Chicken is in pot!!!!!
COOK IT J.!!!!!
After the marching season, the band was only getting a good start of the many more events to come.
They had a Christmas Concert and performed at Boys' and Girls' basketball games.
In the spring, the band went to the annual band rating festival where they received a rating of 2.
After ratings, the band had a concert, banquet, and took a trip to Carowinds where they once again received a rating of 2.
After the trip, the band was wrapping up a very long but fun year. They provided the music for awards day and both gradutions.
After both graduations, the band had a few months off before summer band! Hey, does anyone out there remember the monkey, banana, and the desert island?????
